Vijay Hard At Work, Filming Theri On Pongal

The team of Theri is busy shooting for the film and will not be taking a break for Pongal day. Theri is being directed by Atlee and the filmmakers are working hard to complete the film by the decided date. The movie stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in the leading roles.

The fans have been hyped for the film ever since it was announced and now, the release of the stills has teased them even further. Actress Amy Jackson took to her Twitter page and posted, “'Happy Pongal! Excited to spend the first day of the Tamil New Year on the sets of Theri with @actorvijay’”

Director Mahendran will be playing the role of the antagonist in the film. Theri, which will be an action-drama, is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. G. V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film and George C. Williams has handled the cinematography.
