Vijay Sethupathi To Play Politician In Seenu Ramasamy’s ‘Maamanithan’

It’s a known fact that Seenu Ramasamy’s upcoming venture ‘Maamanithan’ will star Vijay Sethupathi. The film will be bankrolled by music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. The biopic is said to be based on the life of a person hailing from South Tamil Nadu.

Recently, a source revealed that Vijay will be essaying the role of a politician in the film. The source said, “If everything goes well, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as a politician in the movie. However, it is yet to be known as to whose life he will be essaying on screen. The project, which is expected to go on floors in two months' time, will be produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja”.

On a related note, Yuvan is currently producing Nayanthara's ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’. The upcoming murder drama movie is being directed by Chakri Toleti. The movie is being co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh.
