Vijay’s ‘Theri’ Bags ‘U’ Certificate

 Few days back, Vijay fans were surprised when it was reported that his upcoming film ‘Theri’ has been censored.  However, the reports turned out to be false. The producer of the film Kalaipuli S. Thanu cleared that the film is yet-to-be censored. It was being said that the flick will complete its censor formalities by weekend and it did.

The Atlee directorial passed the censor test on Sunday and bagged a clean ‘U’ certificate. Its Telugu version “Policeodu” has also been given a ‘U’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The action entertainer passed the censor test without any cuts and the fans of the Thalaivaa actor are now eagerly waiting for the film.

The film will hit the theater screens on April 14, on Tamil New Year. It will feature Samantha and Amy Jackson as the female leads and will have music by       G. V. Prakash Kumar. Mahendran plays the antagonist in the film and will be seen as a corrupt politician in it.
