Vijay's Theri, Suriya's 24: Box Office Clash Averted?

After a major clash of four Kollywood films on Pongal, movie buffs were expecting another box office clash on Tamil New Year. Speculations have been rife that Vijay starrer Theri and Suriya’s 24 are subject to release on April 14. But now, it seems that atleast one of the two films will get a new release date to avert the biggest Kollywood clash.

As per various trade sources, stakeholders of Theri and 24 will suffer if both movies release on April 14 and hence the clash will be averted. Further, it is also said that sources close to Suriya has hinted that a clash is not possible. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.

A four-day holiday weekend seems to have enticed the makers of both the films. The shooting for the both the movies have been done. Furthermore, their first look is also out and has bagged good response from the audiences.
