Vishal Shocked As ‘Sandakozhi 2’ Gets Cancelled

Vishal is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Marudhu’. The Arun kumar directorial has now reached its final leg. The shoot of the film is progressing at a great pace and soon the film will be wrapped up and the post-production activities will start.

The Paayum Puli actor was set to join director N. Lingusamy for the sequel of his 2005 hit ‘Sandakozhi’. But now, reports suggest that ‘Sandakozhi 2’ has been cancelled. The actor took to Twitter and shared the disappointing news with his fans. He tweeted, “Sad to see certain filmmakers lacking commitment towards projects. Guess actors should stick to acting and directors to directing. ‘Sandakozhi 2’ cancelled (sic)”.

The actor was quite excited about the project as the first part is one of his greatest hits of his career. He was all prepared to bankroll the sequel under his home production Vishal Film Factory. The project was expected to go on floors this month, but that won’t happen now. Lingusamy will be making his entry into Tollywood and will direct Allu Arjun now.
