Will ‘Vedalam’ Reach 100 Crore Mark?

Ajith’s recent release is doing a great business at the box office. The film released just a day before Diwali and is being lauded by the audiences as well as critics. It is turning out to be biggest hit of Ajith’s career. The film will soon be entering an elite club.

It grossed Rs. 15.5 crore on its opening day. The Siva directorial recently crossed the 50 crore magical mark and that too within its first week. Sources claim that the film has chances of crossing the 100 crore worldwide gross mark in the coming days. Only a few Tamil films have archived this feat before.

Reportedly, the action-drama grossed Rs. 9.89 crore after six days in Malaysia. It has become the all-time No.4 among Tamil films in Malaysia after ‘Enthiran’, ‘Sivaji’ and ‘I’. It also got the best opening for a Tamil film there. Reports suggest that the flick will be remade in Telugu and Chiranjeevi will star in it.
