Winston Chao Shares His Experience Of Speaking Tamil In ‘Kabali’

Few days back, Taiwanese actor Winston Chao arrived in Chennai for the dubbing activities of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’. He earlier arrived in the city to shoot for the film. The actor, who will be seen playing the villain in the film, admitted that speaking Tamil was the hardest thing he had to do in the movie.

During an interview to a leading daily, Winston said, “I had to speak English, Chinese, Malay, and... Tamil! And oh, speaking the Tamil dialogues almost killed me because I didn't have a chance to really learn the language. I had to memorise it by sound... just like how you learn a French song”.

He will be accompanied by Malaysian actor Rosyam Nor in the Pa. Ranjith directorial. Currently, the team of the flick is busy with the post-production activities. They are working hard to make the film ready for a July 1 release.
