Wow! Rajinikanth-Starrer ‘Kabali’ Bags Biggest Opener Record

Rajnikanth and Radhika Apte starrer ‘Kabali’ is the present reason for the entire ecstasy in the film industry. The movie has been creating news since its release date was announced. Although, ‘Kabali’ received diversified reviews from critics and audiences, yet it has managed to become the biggest opener of all times.

"It has created history and an all time record all over the world. The collection figure is awaited but I am assuming it has easily made Rs. 100 crore on the first day" said Thanu. Kabali has released in over 10,000 screens in India. The producer of the movie, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, has apparently stated that the movie has earned around 100 crores on the first day of its release.

According to the stated figure of 100 crores, ‘Kabali’ has crushed the records of the three Khan’s of Bollywood. This grand flick has shifted Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ to the second place. Salman’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is at the third spot.
