Yaagam To Have Many Veterans

Veteran actress Jayapradha will be making her comeback in Tamil cinema with the film Yaagam. The movie will also feature actor-politician Napoleon in an important role. Actress Mishti and newcomer Aakash Kumar will be seen in the lead roles in the flick. Debutant director Narasimma, who has worked as an assistant director in films like I and Anniyan, will be at the helm of affairs for the project.

When asked from Narasimma how he managed to get biggies in the film, he said, “Napolean sir first said he couldn’t act in the film since he was in the US and wasn’t into films earnestly anymore. But I requested him to listen to the script once and decide — and managed to make him come on board! Likewise, Jayapradha madam also said this would be the right film to make a comeback, and accepted the role.

The movie focuses on triumph of good over evil and the relationship between a mother and a son.  When asked about the CG work, the director said, “Yes, there is a big CGI segment and it is more creative also. The CG will impress the audience more than the storyline, maybe!
