A Web-Series Inspired By Deva Katta’s Prasthanam

Director Deva Katta received a lot of applause from the critics and from the fans with his directorial venture Prasthanam. The political thriller film written and helmed by Deva Katta, was bankrolled by Ravi Vallabhaneni under VRC Media & Entertainment banner. While the film was critically acclaimed, it didn’t fare well at the box-office due to the lack of publicity.

The latest in the front is that the film has inspired a web-series. If reports are to be believed, a web series titled as Indra Prastham- City of God will be aired on Yupp TV and is inspired from Prasthanam. The web-series will be of three seasons. Each season would have 20 episodes.

The web-series will be helmed by Phanindra. The news was shared by Deva Katta himself on his twitter page. The posts read, “Indra Prastham-city of god" is a 20 episode/seasonX3 season series developed/directed by Phanindra, loosely based on Prasthanam chrctrs
