Anisha Ambrose Roped In For Neram Remake

Known for her roles in films like Alias Janaki, Telugu short film Pawan Kalyan Premalo Padudu and Gopala Gopala, actress Anisha Ambrose will soon be seen in the Telugu remake of the Tamil film Neram. Anisha was initially part of the Sardaar Gabbar Singh team but was replaced by Kajal Aggarwal. In the remake, the actress will be sharing screen space with Sundeep Kishan.

According to TOI, Anisha said, “Yes, I'm doing the film. And I am really excited about the project, especially since the original was a hit”. She added, “Since it is a romantic comedy, the elements in the film will make a fun watch even the second time”. The Telugu version will be an exact remake of the Tamil version of the film.

Talking about her role, the actress revealed, “I might be playing just another college-going girl who falls in love (with the character played by Sundeep). But I believe in adding my own interpretation to the character. So I'll be watching the original carefully and taking down notes. On the surface, a role may seem very simple, but an actor should always do his or her homework”.
