‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ To Face Fierce Contest From Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’

After winning the Best Film award and the Best Visual Effects award at the 63rd National Film Awards, the team of magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ is working hard to make the sequel a bigger hit than the first instalment. Director S.S. Rajamouli preferred to shoot for ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ rather than celebrating the occasion with the team. His focus is completely on making the film a masterpiece that would be relished and lauded by the audiences worldwide.

The makers of the epic historical-fiction film have already locked the flick’s release date as April 14, 2017. It will now face fierce competition from none other than the Thalaiva of Kollywood. The film will lock horns with Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’, the sequel of hit Tamil film ‘Enthiran’.

The prequel broke all the records when it released in 2010. It became the top-earning Indian film of the year despite the releases of Bollywood’s two big stars. But last year, Prabhas starrer ‘Baahubali’ defeated it to become the top-grossing south Indian film of all time. This time too, the director would be hoping to get better of his counterpart S. Shankar. Rana Daggubati has already said that his character will be crueler this time and the lead cast is completely dedicated to the project. It will be interesting to see which film is able to pull more crowds on April 14, 2017.
