    Baahubali’s Poster Makes World Record

    Ambitious magnum opus Baahubali has made a Guinness World Record for being the largest movie poster of more than 50,000 sq ft. The reference book declared it on its official website - www.guinnessworldrecords.com. The declaration said, “The largest poster has an area of 4,793.65 sq m (51,598.21 sq ft) and was achieved by Global United Media Company Pvt Ltd (India) in Kochi, India, on 27 June 2015".

    Global United Media managing director Prem Menon said to IANS, “You don't get to do things like these every day and a big thank you to the entire team to make this wonderful event happen. A special thanks to producers Shobu Yarlagadda, Devineni Prasad and director Rajamouli”. Director Rajamouli expressed his happiness by sharing the website’s link to his Twitter page. He also wrote, “Now it is officially awarded.. Congratulations to Mr Prem Menon and his team at Global United media”.

    This blockbuster movie is the most expensive Indian movie and has been creating milestones since its release on July 10. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. It was presented in Bollywood by Filmamker Karan Johar.
