Balachandra Menon not making a comeback

In a sad news to the fans of Balachandra Menon, the veteran actor and filmmaker who was expected to make a comeback with Mammootty'sEmmanuelwill not be doing the film because of his daughter's wedding on December 23. Everyone was waiting eagerly for the National Award-winning actor’s return after a four-year’s hiatus.

Informing about the development, Menon said, "Mammootty had asked me to be a part of the film and honestly, I was excited about the role and working with him and Lal. However, my daughter's wedding is next month and I wouldn't be able to accommodate the film". He said the megastar had informed him that they would collaborate for another project soon.
