Devi Sri Prasad Quits ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming project ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ is one of the most conversed topics of the industry. As per the latest development, the star music composer, Devi Sri Prasad, has walked out of the film. It is touted that director Krish and Devi Sri Prasad have mutually agreed to part.

‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ is a historical film about great Satavahana ruler called Satakarni. For this movie, Krish wanted best music melodies in quick time, but Devi Sri Prasad is known for working dilatorily. Moreover, composing music for such an important film required considerable time.

Thus, both Krish and Devi Sri Prasad decided to disjoin. Krish will now have to hunt a new composer for ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’. Devi Sri Prasad, on the other hand, is completely occupied in several other projects. January 12, 2017 is booked as the release date of ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ which is 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
