It’s Venkatesh For Puri Jagannadh’s Jana Gana Mana?

Looks like Venkatesh is all set to make most of it from Mahesh’s loss. The star has reportedly agreed to work for Puri Jagannadh’s much hyped flick, Jana Gana Mana after getting no response from the Brahmotsavam actor. However, it was said that Mahesh did like the script, but didn’t give his nod ever.

It is heard that Puri is now eager to get on with the project and approached Venky for the same. A close source said, “The director, too, became busy with other films. But now he’s keen to work with Venky.” Though, we still have to wait for the official confirmation from the maker.

Interestingly, Venkatesh is working on Guru, which is Telugu remake of hit flick Irudhi Suttru. He plays the boxing coach of actress Ritika Singh, who was there in the original movie as well. Talking about Puri Jagganath’s last directorial flick, Ism, it did pretty good business at the box office.
