Karan Johar Responsible For The Rescheduling Of ‘Baahubali 2’?

Recently, it was touted that the largely awaited flick of recent times, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, will hit the cinema screens on April 28, 2017. This announcement resulted in a gush of excitement. However, if one may recall, the director of this epic movie, S. S. Rajamouli, had earlier stated that ‘Baahubali 2’ will release on April 14, 2017.

The movie is postponed for about 2 weeks, but no reasons are provided by the team for this delay. As per reports, Karan Johar has forced director S. S. Rajamouli to alter the release date of ‘Baahubali 2’. Karan has recently revealed that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will release on April 7, 2017.

In such a situation, if ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ would have released on April 14, the very next week after the release of ‘Jagga Jasoos’, it would have cut-down the box office collections of the latter. Moreover, Ranbir Kapoor’s recent failures demanded for a good release date. Consequently, Karan Johar is rumoured to have asked S. S. Rajamouli to shift the release date of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.
