Karthi puts on a singing hat

Tamil actor Karthi has recorded a party number for the filmBiriyaniwith Premgi. Premgi said, "I always used to sing in my brother's film. But we spotted Karthi's singing talent on the sets. He used to sing lot of Ilaiyaraaja songs during the shoots. Venkat Prabhu liked his voice and made him sing a song in the film as well. It is an interesting sequence where we both get drunk and belt out a number. It has come out well and Yuvan has done a brilliant job with the song."

The recording was finished within few hours of the shoot and Venkat, Yuvan, Karthi and Premgi enjoyed a lot then. The crew is shooting in Chennai presently and is in sync with the schedule planned.
