Keerthy Suresh 's Mahanati Starts Rolling

Nag Ashwin tasted success with his directorial debut Yevade Subramanyam. The director is back with a Telugu- Tamil bilingual movie, Mahanati, which is a biopic of a legendary South actress Savitiri. The last we heard about the flick was that Ghazi’s art director Shivam Rao has been taken on board for the bilingual Telugu-Tamil movie for its production design.

The latest in the front will bring smile the faces of fans who are waiting for the film with bated breaths. If reports are to be believed, the film went on to the floors at a studio in Hyderabad yesterday. The film has been in pre-production stage ever since it was announced eight months ago.

In the flick, actress Keerthy Suresh will play yesteryear actress Savitri, whereas Samantha will portray the role of a journalist. Actor Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing love interest of Samantha and Dulquer Salmaan as Shivaji Ganeshan. The music will be scored by Mickey J Meyer. The biopic is being hyped as one of its kind biopic in the history of film-making.
