'Lakshmi Bomb' Release Date Revealed

It’s a known fact that actress Lakshmi Manchu’s upcoming movie is titled ‘Lakshmi Bomb’. The Karthikeya Gopalakrishna directorial was launched in May this year in the Annapurna Studios. Bankrolled by Vella Mounika Chandrasekhar and Uma Lakshmi Narasimha, the movie has finally got a release date.

The latest we hear about the upcoming flick is that it will hit theatres on December 23. This would mark the movie’s clash with Nani-Keerthy Suresh starrer ‘Nenu Local’, Naveen Chandra’s ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ and Aamir Khan's ‘Yuddham’ (Telugu version of ‘Dangal’) at the box office. Claimed to bring forth a novel concept altogether by Gopalakrishna, ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ is touted to be a nice comedy thriller.

The music for the flick has been rendered by Sunil Kashyap. Lakshmi Manchu will be seen playing the character of an upright judge who is as powerful as the Diwali cracker Lakshmi Bomb. The movie also stars Posani, Hema Prabhakar, Amith, Rakesh, Jeeva, Raghu Babu, Sharat and Raja Ravindra. The story and dialogues for the flick have been penned by Darling Swamy. Cinematographer Anji wielded the camera for the movie.
