Lavanya Tripathi May Star With Sundeep Kishan In C.V. Kumar’s Next

Rumor mills are abuzz that actress Lavanya Tripathi will star opposite to Sundeep Kishan in a C.V. Kumar’s forthcoming film. Reportedly, Taapsee Pannu was earlier roped in to play the female lead role in the movie. However, the Delhi beauty backed out of the flick as the project got delayed a number of times due to prolonged script work.

Explaining the Sahasam actress’ withdrawal from the project, the Tiger star stated, “Tapsee had given a nod to begin shoot in December. But unfortunately, we had to reschedule to February and that wasn't possible for Tapsee because of a Bollywood project. But there was a real need to work on the script and the delay was inevitable”.

Lavanaya tended to be anxious originally. The Miss Uttarakhand title winner stated, “I was nervous at first because the film is being made in Tamil too but then, the story and especially the character offered to me was too good to say no to”. However, the Ra Ra... Krishnayya actor seems to be excited to work with the Bhale Bhale Magadivoy star. Expressing his enthusiasm, Sundeep stated, “We have been good friends for a while now and so working with her will be fun for sure”.

C.V. Kumar’s next is reportedly a science fiction film and is expected to get on the grounds from the third week of February.
