Malupu Is A Complete Package, Says Aadhi

Telugu film, Malupu, which is based on a real life incident that took place on New Year's Eve of 2000 in Chennai, has hit the screens on February 19.  Aadhi, who is playing the lead role in the movie says, “This film has got everything from emotions to a quirky romantic track. The Telugu audience will be able to relate to the 'malupu' — the unexpected twist in the tale. And the story is peppered with lots of situational comedy, so it's a complete package”.

About playing a real life character who happens to be his brother and director Sathya Prabha’s friend, Aadhi, said in a statement, “I have known him for a while because he is a good friend of Sathya. My brother in fact was insistent that we do not act. He just wanted us to live in every scene, and let the resulting emotion work. In fact, he would tweak scenes to suit us. When the four guys saw Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka (the Tamil version of the film) they confessed to having goosebumps”.

He also said, “It's a bilingual in a true sense. We shot in Telugu as well and it's a completely different package. The Tamil version was 155 minutes long, Malupu is only 118 minutes”.
