Manchu Vishnu does a free act in his next, Rowdy

Money is not everything for actor-director Manchu Vishnu, especially when it comes to friendship. Hence he decided not to charge money for his role in his upcoming action drama, Rowdy, which is being produced by his close buddies P. Gajendra Naidu and M. Parthasarathi Naidu.

As told by the actor, "They are like family to me. We grew up together and they morally supported me in many projects, so this film is extra special for me. I know from experience that producing movies isn't an easy proposition and warned my friends. But they were adamant on funding the movie themselves. So I decided to waive my remuneration to help ease some pressure on the producers. I told them to pay me my due after the movie goes on to become a hit. It's the least I could do for them.” Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Rowdy, also features Mohan Babu and Jayasudha in the lead. Vishnu said more, "It's a dream come true to be working with RGV. The movie is inspired by some real incidents and that's what caught my fancy.”
