Nadiya To Play Indira Gandhi In NTR Biopic

It is a known fact that Telugu hero-turned-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna is making a biopic on his late father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka NTR . NTR was the legendary actor and former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh and founder of the Telugu Desam Party. Balakrishna will essay the role of his father.

The film will be directed by Teja and co-produced by Balakrishna. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the movie is a hit among the masses. They are roping in actors who will be in sync with their characters.

Now the latest buzz that we have heard is that actress Nadiya has been signed in to play the role of India’s first and only woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It is believed that Indira Gandhi was key influential personality behind NTR joining politics. According to reports, the makers wanted to cast someone who is not just a performer but also a stylish personality and they thought that Nadiya fit the bill.
