Neason to join Mahesh Babu for his next?

If reports are to be believed, T-town heartthrob Mahesh Babu has apparently been roped in by Jilla director Neason for his next venture. The upcoming film was said to be the Telugu remake of Kollywood flick Jilla, but the sources have denied all such rumours. The action-drama film starring Mohanlal, Vijay, and Kajal Aggarwal released on Januray 10, 2014, and was declared super hit at box office.

Talking about the film, a close source confirms, "A leading production house has initiated talks with Neason and Mahesh Babu. Neason is yet to narrate the script to the actor. Only after Neason meets the actor, the project will be confirmed. It is an entirely new script and it will not be a remake of Jilla. Talks are on with Mohanlal also for a crucial role and perhaps, because of Lal's involvement, people might have assumed that this was a remake."

Sources have further confirmed that a leading production house will produce the movie. Apparently, Mollywood actor Mohanlal, who played a significant role in Jilla, will be part of the new venture too. The film will reportedly be launched in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
