    Nirmala Sitharaman Praises 'Baahubali' At Global Skills Summit 2015

    The pride of Telugu cinema ‘Baahubali’ has created a number of records worldwide after its release. The S.S. Rajamouli directorial managed to collect a whopping Rs 598 crore in its global 56-day run. It was praised and applauded by a lot of people across the globe. The latest person to appreciate and applaud the Prabhas starrer is Union Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

    The BJP leader was recently in Delhi to attend the Global Skills Summit 2015. She praised the efforts of the South Indian Cinema and referred to the brilliant technical work in ‘Baahubali’. She said, "I am not a film buff but after watching Baahubali, I think the technical quality of the south Indian films are becoming far superior to many other films I have seen in the north".

    She added "The technical specialization of Baahubali and its mindboggling special effects have been compared to the likes of Hollywood chart busters '300' ”. Superstar Kamal Hassan was elected as Chairman of Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) by Global Skills Summit. The multi-talented actor gave a splendid speech about his life journey and how he became the superstar.
