Nithya Menen Might Star Opposite Suriya In 24

The recent about megastar Suriya’s upcoming film 24 is that Nithya Menen has been roped in to play the role of lead actress. “Vikram has been in talks with many leading ladies for this role. Finally, he zeroed in on Nithya Menen recently. The actress plays an interesting role and is set to join the sets from August 1. An official announcement will be made once she signs the dotted line”, said a source close to the director.

The Vikram Kumar directorial is a racy thriller which consists of time travelling concept. Currently, the team is in Mumbai to complete some portions of the shoot. The O Kadhal Kanmani actress has joined hands with the director of the film for the second time. Their first film together was Telugu blockbuster Ishq.

Suriya will be seen playing the dual role in the flick and one of his role might have Nithya as the lead actress. Both of them will be seen together for the first time on screen. Currently, the actress is waiting for her upcoming Telugu historical film, Rudhramadevi, which is made on a very high budget.
