Not Devi Sri Prasad But S.S. Thaman Will Compose Music For Varun Tej’s Next

For quite some time now, reports have been doing the rounds that the background score for actor Varun Tej’s next with filmmaker Venky Atluri will be rendered by film composer and playback singer Devi Sri Prasad. However, the latest development on the same is that the project has been handed over to the popular music director S.S. Thaman. The film is touted to be a romantic drama.

A source was quoted as saying, “DSP would have been a great value addition to the project. However, it didn’t work out because of his jam-packed schedule. Both the parties mutually decided that it wouldn’t work out, and that’s how Thaman was roped in”.

Well, if Devi Sri Prasad was doing the project, it would have marked the first collaboration between him and Varun Tej. But, probably, there is some more time for this to happen. On a related note, the film will be bankrolled by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. George C. Williams is expected to wield the camera for the film.
