Okkadu Migiladu Has Manchu Manoj In Dual Role

Based on the controversial backdrop of LTTE, Okkadu Migiladu will have Manchu Manoj in a dual role. Newbie director Ajay Andrews Nuthakki is helming the project which is a period drama. In the film, one of Manoj’s roles is of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran while the other is of a college student.

The movie will have two parallel stories. According to a source, “The film will parallely have two stories - one of Prabhakaran and the other of a present day college going student, similar to how Rang De Basanti pans out”. For the role of the chief, Manoj put on a lot of weight and for the role of the student, the actor lost nearly 12 kgs.

Manoj first shot for the scenes for Prabhakaran. The contemporary scenes are being shot in Hyderabad with major chunks of the film being done in Vizag. ‘Okkadu Migiladu’ will hit theatres on May 11 and will put Regina Cassandra alongside Manoj.
