Omkar Gearing Up For New Project

TV host-turned-director Omkar has bagged his next film following the success of Raju Gari Gadhi. The horror comedy was well received by the audience and the producers. The director could not get the appreciation he expected from his 2012 film Genius but that did not bring him down.

Producer Anil Sunkara has brought Omkar on board to direct a film under his production banner AK Entertainments, according to latest reports. Anil Sunkara and Sai Korrapati were the producers who felt that Raju Gari Gadhi should get a bigger release and so they bought the rights to the film to give it a wide release. Raju Gari Gadhi stars Ashwin Babu and Dhanya Balakrishna in leading roles.

The movie was produced by R.Divakaran and S.Praveen. The music was scored by Sai Karthik and tells the story of the Raju Gari Mahal in Nandima. The movie was released on October 22 and has gained appreciation for the humorous content given by Shakalaka Shankar and Dhanraj.
