S.S. Rajamouli has been busy shooting for ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ with his team. The shoot of the second part of the magnum opus is currently progressing in Kerala. The shoot of the film might be halted as a letter against the team has been sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, a Kerala based animal rights activist group has alleged the director and his team of violating the rules related to the use of live animals during the shoot. They claim that while shooting in Trissur, an elephant was used without getting certificate from Animal Welfare Board of India, which is necessary as per the Performing Animals Registration Rules, 2001.Also, more than 50 people were making noise on the sets, which is considered as animal torture.

The activists added that the elephant was made to stand for hours in scorching heat. The man working with the elephant used a banned weapon to control the mammoth. Also, there was no Animal Welfare Official present during the shoot, which is against the rules. The activists have asked the Prime Minister for arrest of Rajamouli, cinematographer K. K. Senthil Kumar and producer Shobu Yarlagadda.
