    Ram Charan’s Dhruva May Not Release On The Planned Date

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement on demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes to curb black money and corruption took everyone by surprise. It has not only created problems for common people who have to stand in long bank queues to get their money exchanged, but it has also effected the Indian film industry. Filmmakers are deciding on postponing the release dates of their films due to the backlash of less cash on the hands of public.

    Reportedly, another movie maker who is mulling to reschedule the release of his film and that is none other than producer Allu Aravin. He is planning to postpone the release of his forthcoming film Dhruva due to the ongoing currency confusion. The film stars Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.

    Dhruva, which is the an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan, is done with its shooting part and now the post production activities are in full swing. The movie is scheduled to be release in December. However, now rumours are swimming across that it will get postponed by a week or two.

    A source has confirmed the news and stated, “Allu Aravind, the producer of the film is thinking of postponing this film as smaller denominations are not fully available. As this is a big release, they need good openings. He is planning to release the film once normalcy is restored in the state”. However an official announcement on the same is still awaited.
