    Akhil Akkineni’s debut film titled ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ was supposed to hit the screens on October 22. However the film’s release was postponed due to VFX related issues. Missing out on the festive occasion in October, the producer of the film Nithin and Akhil’s father Nagarjuna were planning to release the film next year around Pongal. But recently, speculations rose that the film will now be released on Diwali. Here is the latest update about the film’s release.

    According to reports, the film will now be released around Diwali. Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Bengal Tiger’ with director Sampath Nandi was supposed to release on November 6. But the Kick actor asked the makers of the film to postpone the release of the film to make way for Akhil’s maiden venture. A source revealed, "Since Ravi Teja and Vinayak, the director of Akhil share a close bond, the former has agreed to postpone his release on mutual consent".

    Reportedly, the film of the Mass Maharaja with Tamannaah Bhatia will now release on November 24 or in the first week of December. ‘Akhil’ also marks the debut of Sayesha Saigal. The V.V. Vinayak directorial will now be gearing up for the promotional activities and for its release.
