Release Date Of Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ Postponed Again?

It seems that the confusion pertaining to the release date of Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ is in no mood to end anytime soon. Due to constant delay in the shooting of the film, the Samantha starrer project has been postponed several times. Lately, it was announced that the movie will hit the screens on May 20 but now as per the latest reports, the release date has been pushed back once again.  

“Due to uncompromising working style of Mahesh and director Srikanth Addala, the film's shooting and post-production is being delayed than we thought”, revealed a source to filmibeat.com. Now it is suspected that the movie will release on May 27. “While  Mahesh was disappointed with the delay, he understands the reason and he has told Srikanth Addala (the film’s director) to take his time as he feels quality is more important”, an insider told Indian Express.

On the other side, it is also being said that estimations and negotiations are going on and there is a possibility that the film will release on May 20, as planned earlier. Hence, nothing can be said to be confirmed until an official announcement is made. “The summer vacation is going on and as this is a family movie, the makers want to cash in on this period. With other big films planning their releases in summer, the makers know that they don’t have much time to decide”, added the source. Bankrolled by PVP cinemas, Brahmotsavam also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash in female lead roles.
