RGV: Celebs Give Quintals Of Prayers But Very Few Rupees

Ram Gopal Varma is quite famous for voicing out his opinion in every cause but mostly going critical against the majority. This time as well, the filmmaker has poked his nose, tom-toming the celebs donating for flood relief work of Chennai. According to RGV, the celebs who are lauding their own efforts, aren’t donating much money.  

RGV reflected his opinion on Twitter. “Celebs give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love, but very very few rupees because prayers and love are cheap and money costs money”, he tweeted. He also wrote, “As per me I never donated one rupee and am supremely selfish unlike celebs who give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love”.

 Apparently, his tweet didn’t go well with the film fraternity. “Where the whole film fraternity is doing its bit for the flood-hit victims, all he does is preach and criticise. We want to know what has he donated, or whether he even donated anything at all”, someone from film fraternity told TOI.
