Shamna Kasim Plays Village Girl in Sivaji’s next

Shamna Kasim is quite excited for her upcoming Tollywood film Sarvamangalam. The actress will be seen playing the role of a village girl. This Sivaji directorial also has Srinivas Reddy in the lead.

Talking of her character in the film, Shamna said, “My character is that of a young woman working as a government employee, but the love of her life is flowers. Her ambition is to start a flower nursery. We are currently shooting in Hyderabad city, and would soon move to Vizag to shoot the later portions”. The makers want to wrap the shoot of the film at the earliest and hence, the crew is shooting for the project round the clock.

The actress further said that she picks movies based on the roles. She said, “I don't want to star in films for the sake of acting. There are offers, but I would sign the dotted line only when a project excites me enough to spare time for it”.
