Suriya, Karthi help destitute students

Following the footsteps of their superstar father, Sivakumar, Tamil actors Suriya and Karthi are also providing financial support to meritorious children to complete their education. Veteran actor Sivakumar founded the Sri Sivakumar Educational and Charitable Trust around 30-year ago and since then the institute has been helping with the education of deserving students. Making their father proud, Suriya and Karthi have also continued with the good work started by Sivakumar. At the recently held 33rd award function of the trust, Suriya donated Rs. 10,000 each to 20 students and also awarded Thai Tamil Palli institution, which provides primary education to poor children in Tindivanam and Vazhai, with Rs. 1.5 lakh.
