Suriya’s S3: Yamudu Is Releasing On Time, Confirms Producer Shivakumar

For a while, rumours were doing the rounds that the release of Suriya-starrer S3: Yamudu will get postponed owing to Prime Minster Narendra’s Modi’s shocking decision to demonetize high currency notes. However, rubbishing all the reports, the film’s producer Malkapuram Shivakumar has stated that there are no changes in the release date of his film and it will hit the big screens on December 16 only. The movie is a dubbed version of Tamil action-thriller S3.

During an interview with IANS, Shivakumar was quoted as saying, “We are releasing the film on December 16 along with the Tamil version. We have no plans of postponing it because we believe audience will watch any film if they find it good". It was also being heard that the makers of Ram Charan's Dhruva has requested the postponement of S3: Yamudu.

When Shivakumar was asked about the flying rumours, he replied, “We had announced our release date long back and we plan to stick to it". With Hari wielding the megaphones, the film is the third outing of the much-loved Singam series. The movie will also see Shruti Haasan, Anushka Shetty and Thakur Anoop Singh in pivotal roles.
