Tarun Arora’s Role In Chiranjeevi-Starrer Khaidi No.150: It’s On The Lines Of Vijay Mallya

Tarun Arora, who played the role of Anshuman in Kareena and Shahid-starrer ‘Jab We Met’, is all set for his Tollywood debut. The 37-year-old actor has been roped in for the magnum opus Khaidi No.150 which is Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. He revealed that his role in the film is on the lines of controversial Indian businessman Vijay Mallya.

Earlier, it was touted that Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will play this role, but later Tarun was locked for the job. Tarun, who plays a sophisticated villain, told IANS, “I play a much mature and aged character vis-A-vis what Neil played in the original. The makers haven’t changed my character per se, but our take on it will be different. Going by the brief given to me, it’s on the lines of Vijay Mallya.”

He further added, “You’ll only see me in suits throughout the film. Imagine Mallya in his prime and that’s exactly how I’m going to be portrayed.” Tarun joined the sets of Khaidi No.150 on September 14, Wednesday, much after the film completed its first schedule. Tarun Arora finds himself privileged on bagging an opportunity to share screen space with Chiru in his memorable 150th film. He says, “I feel lucky and blessed to be working alongside Chiranjeevi sir. This is the best Telugu debut and I consider it a sort of an achievement.”

Desimartini wishes Tarun Arora all the best for his Telugu debut beside Chiranjeevi in Khaidi No.150.
