Varun Tej: Our Family Has Become A Cricket Team

Young actor Varun Tej’s Loafer saw an audio launch recently. At the event, Baahubali star Prabhas was the guest of honour. Though the Pawan Kalyan fans disrupted the event with their loud slogans, Varun took the stage and gave an impressive speech.

Addressing the absence of Chiranjeevi, he said, “It’s seemingly unreasonable on our part to expect Chiranjeevi garu for every audio launch function. Our family has become a cricket team with many actors foraying into the industry. Our family is celebrating at least one film event every month. So, Chiranjeevi garu cannot make it to every event and hence sent us a video message wishing our entire unit good luck. It means a lot and I thank him for supporting us”.

Loafer is directed by Puri Jagannadh and the music for the film has been scored by Sunil Kashyap. Varun shares screen space with Disha Patani in the film. The cast also includes Revathi, Krishna Murali Posaani and Brahmanandam. Loafer will be released on December 18.
