Vijay Devarakonda To Star As ANR in 'Mahanati'?

Director Nag Ashwin is all set to helm the upcoming Telugu-Tamil multilingual film Mahanati. The film has created a lot of buzzes, since its announcement. Latest reports reveal that actor Vijay Deverakonda has been roped in to play a cameo in the flick.

The young actor will be seen playing the role of ANR in the film. The film revolves around the life story of legendary actress Savitri for which, actress Keerthy Suresh has been brought on board the film as the leading lady. Moreover, Dulquer Salman will be seen playing the role of Savitri’s husband Gemini Ganesan in the flick.

Further, actress Samantha will play a crucial role in the film. Other actors like NTR Jr and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni were also approached by Producer Ashwini Dutt, who offered them to play grandfathers in Mahanati, but the actors rejected. Later, other actors were contacted for the same.  Meanwhile, more details regarding the cast are yet to be revealed.
