<p>There have been many popular names in the TV industry who took a big risk by leaving their successful TV shows at the peak of their career but their decision only turned out to be fruitful later.&nbsp;</p>


The late actor was a popular name in the TV industry for his portrayal of Manav in Pavitra Rishta. However, he chose to quit the show to try his luck in films and the decision was a big one but it turned out to be beneficial for him. His debut film Kai Po Che was successful and paved the way for him in movies. Sushant's tragic demise in June 2020 was a huge loss for the entertainment industry but his legacy still lives on. 

Mouni Roy started her career with television with successful shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Mahadev, and Naagin. The actress was asked to reprise her role in the further seasons of Naagin but chose to back out from the same to explore movies. The gamble paid off and she went on to star in films like Gold, Made In China and the latest Brahmastra wherein her role was much appreciated by the masses. 

Hina Khan became a household name with her performance as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain. However, she chose to leave the show mid-way before a leap and her character was killed off in the same. She took a huge risk and participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 11. She ended as the first runner-up in the same and her popularity only soared higher. The actress soon attended the Cannes Film Festival and also starred as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2. Since then there has been no looking back for her. 

Paras Kalnawat shocked many fans when he quit the hit show Anupamaa. He participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa after the same and opened up several times on how it was a very difficult decision for him to do the same. However, looks like there are no regrets now for him because after his successful stint on the dance reality show, he went on to star in many music videos and is now roped in as the main lead in Kundali Bhagya. 

Rubina Dilaik's decision to quit her popular show Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was also a huge gamble but the actress soon participated on Bigg Boss 14 that made her one of the most adored female contestants of the show and she also emerged as the winner of the same. Rubina has since then also emerged as finalists in shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She also made her Bollywood debut with the movie Ardh alongside Rajpal Yadav.
