Vijay Deverakonda announces his next film

Actor Vijay Deverakonda needs no introduction. Today is nothing less of a festival for all the fans and followers of the superstar. The reason? Today is the birthday of Vijay Deverakonda. Call it as a birthday gift of sorts, his new film got announced today.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media and posted all the details of his upcoming film. He wrote, ‘VIJAY DEVERAKONDA REUNITES WITH MYTHRI MOVIE MAKERS… PAN-INDIA FILM ANNOUNCED… #VijayDevarakonda collaborates with #MythriMovieMakers for the third time: a PAN-India project that’s set in 19th century [#VD14].’

On his part, Vijay Deverakonda took to social media and posted the film’s poster and captioned the same stating, ‘'The Legend of the Cursed Land' Rahul Sankrityan X Vijay Deverakonda MythriOfficial’.

As per a news report in Republic World, it has been mentioned that the film’s title will be a tentative one. They mentioned that the film’s makers have kept SVC59 as the film’s title (working title). The said film will be a pan-India one. And the languages in which the film will be released include Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

Looking back, the last few films of Vijay Deverakonda had not got the kind of response that one would expect from his films. That’s why, the aforementioned film (which also happens to be his fourteenth film) becomes more or less like an acid test for the superstar actor. The said film will be directed by his 'Taxiwaala' director Rahul Sankrityan.

Only yesterday (May 8), Vijay had shared the announcement of his film VD14 with a brand-new poster. As per reports, the said movie is being said to be a period-action-drama film, which will be set against the backdrop of Andhra Pradesh's Rayalaseema region. It will be Mythri Movie Makers, who will be reportedly bankrolling the film.
