Back in 2020, Bollywood beauty Sushmita Sen made her comeback as well as a smashing digital debut with Ram Madhvani ’s web series Aarya . The crime-thriller drama featured her as Aarya Sareen, who returns to the world of crime after her husband is shot dead. Last year Sushmita once again stepped into the shoes of Aarya for season 2, which ended with the character realizing that she can no longer run from her reality. Well, she left us on a deadly cliffhanger but is now ready to return with season 3.

Sushmita Sen on Aarya 3 : ‘I have a dirty feeling we’re coming with season three’

While a lot of characters had died in season 2, we got a glimpse of a new character before it came to an end. In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source in the know was quoted saying, “Ram and his team have begun scripting for Aarya 3, and are excited to take the story on another level in terms of drama and thrills. Aarya is an extremely important project for him, and he doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned for the third part. As of now, they are hoping to start filming by the year-end.”

Back in December, Sushmita had described Aarya as the female version of Michael Corleone from The Godfather. She had even stated that because Dutch drama series Penoza, on which her show is based, has 5 seasons, Aarya has a basic arc of five seasons. Well, we can’t wait to see how Aarya aka Sushmita fights the new bad guys in the upcoming season!
