Batgirl director has the perfect response to people criticizing the new costume

Actress Leslie Grace who playing the role of Batgirl recently released the first look of her dressed in costume via Instagram. the new costume was praised by most for being accurate to the comic books but not all were on board.

Many criticized the outfit saying it looked cheap and looked like it belonged in a TV show than a big-budget movie.

What critics fail to release is that Barbra Gordon aka Batgirl started out on her own, Gordon who is a huge fan of the caped crusader since she was a child wanted to follow in his footsteps. And when she got older circumstances forced her into taking on the persona of Batgirl.

So the way her costume looks like it does is because she made herself.

Of course director, Adil El Arbi did not take this criticism lying down and responded by posting a funny Robin meme on social media.

This just points out the fact that Batgirl will have a different suit by the end of the movie, most likely a gift from her mentor Batman.

Micheal Keaton will be playing the role of Bruce Wayne in the movie and will serve as a mentor to the young Barbara Gordon as she learns to fight crime and protect Gotham City

J.K Simmions will play the role of James Gordon and Brendan Fraser will play the role of Firefly and serve as the main villian.

The Batgirl is set to stream on HBO Max sometime this year
