Bigg Boss OTT 2: Akanksha Puri breaks silence on her breakup with Paras Chhabra, says 'it was demeaning on national television'

Bigg Boss OTT 2 is witnessing many high-octane dramas taking place between the contestants right since its inception. In the latest episode, Akanksha Puri was seen opening up about her highly publicized and ugly breakup with ex-boyfriend and actor Paras Chhabra on Bigg Boss 13. For the unversed, Paras had broken up with Akanksha during his participation on the show after he was attracted to his co-contestant Mahira Sharma.

Talking about the same, Akanksha Puri could be seen talking to Jad Hadid and explaining to him why she is hesitant toward his flirtatious advances on her. The Vignaharta Ganesh actress said that after her breakup with Paras Chhabra on national television, she was in a huge trauma and has never been in a relationship ever since then. The actress also said that she has become nervous about getting into a romantic space on a reality show after the same.

Akanksha added without mentioning Paras’ name that it was extremely demeaning and humiliating for her when he had broken up with her on national television. She also recalled some statements which were made by Paras on her which had left her deeply rattled. Akanksha Puri furthermore said that she never got closure on that relationship.

About the separation, Paras Chhabra grew close to Mahira Sharma after which he almost hinted that his relationship with Akanksha Puri was over. In one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 13, Paras also lashed out at Akanksha stating that she is making false allegations about him of cheating and that their relationship was almost over before he had come on the show. The breakup was extremely controversial and garnered a lot of public glare. Akanksha then sparked rumors of dating singer Mika Singh after winning a reality show based on his marriage.
