Exclusive: Parvin Dabas on doing Made In Heaven 2- ‘The leading ladies in my episode were what sealed the deal’

Just last month streaming platform Amazon Prime Video gave fans an exciting surprise when they officially announced that the second and much awaited season of Made In Heaven will arrive soon! The makers shared, “#MadeInHeavenOnPrime S2: We can hear the wedding bells ringing! To many more new weddings, face fresh challenges and in the process, chart the journey of their own lives.” While we can’t wait to see Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur as our favorite wedding planners, we are also looking forward to the new characters who will be introduced this season.

One actor who has been roped in for Made In Heaven 2 is Parvin Dabas. Talking about the show, he exclusively told us, “I can’t reveal much about the role right now but the reason I said yes to us are first of all I have been a big fan of the work Zoya and Reema have been doing…they are both new age film makers but also strongly have their fingers on the pulse of the Indian viewers…the director Alankrita Shrivastava is someone who’s work I admire greatly for the sensitivity she has shown as a film maker and the combination of these three ladies was too good to say no to.”

He went on to add, “And then the leading ladies in my episode were what sealed the deal though I cannot take their names yet…what I can say is I loved the experience and it was very nuanced and challenging role on many levels and I can’t wait for the audience to see it.”

Also starring Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi, the show has been created by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar and Alankrita Shrivastava.
