Kapil Sharma might have asked if Ginni's dad needed a chauffer if he had drunk toddy before proposing her

Kapil Sharma had one day, all of a sudden, expressed his love for a girl named Ginni Chatrath on social media. This post sent netizens to a tizzy and everyone wanted to know who Ginni was. Kapil went on to marry her, and now the two are parents to two beautiful kids. And it is with his Netflix Special 'I Am Not Done Yet' that the comedian has finally opened up about his love story with Ginni Chatrath.

In a clip from the special, Kapil thanks an alcohol brand for helping him confess his love for Ginni. He says that Ginni and he used to do theatre together and she was a good actress, which is why he would give her more assignments. She would also often call him up and share the reports with him. One day, she called him, and that was also the day he wasdrinking a good alcohol. So right after picking the call, he asked, 'Do you love me?' She was taken aback, obviously. Kapil then joked, "Main shukr karta hoon bhagwan ka uss din maine taari nahi pi ralhi thi. Agar taari pi hoti toh shayad mera question hi badal jaata- 'Ginni, tere papa ko driver chahiye?' He then went on to ask Ginni why she decided to be with Kapil, and receives an equally hilarious answer. See the video here:

Well, Kapil and Ginni do look made for each other, don't they? Kapil has often said that it was after his marriage with Ginni that his career, that was falling apart at one point in time, took a turn for the better and he was able to get back in track!
