Koffee With Karan: The only time Karan Johar leaked rapid fire questions was to THESE celebrities: 'Wanted them to come across well'

Koffee with Karan is making a comeback with what will hopefully be another blockbuster season of the show. Going completely digital this year, Koffee With Karan season 7 premieres this weekend with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani duo Alia and Ranveer Singh as the opening guests.

Busy promoting the new season, Karan Johar has confessed to have leaked rapid fire questions to only one set of guests who are very close to his heart. On being asked during an interview with NDTV if he has ever leaked rapid fire questions to any of his guests, the filmmaker candidly admitted that in the history of the show, it has happened just that one time as he wanted these guests on his Koffee couch to come across well.

The guests in question are the cast of Student of the Year, the film directed by Karan which marked the debut of Alia Bhatt , Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan . The trio had come together on Karan Johar's chat show for the first time post the release of their debut film which had made them instantly famous.

The three actors who were launched by Karan in his directorial are still very close to Karan's heart and the filmmaker during the interview recently confessed why he choose to share the rapid fire questions with them before hand.

"Once, I did it when we were doing the Student of the Year episode with the three of them [Varun, Alia, Sidharth] because I was so scared. They were new and I wanted them to, you know, come across well."

Despite prepping the three actor for their debut on Koffee with Karan, the episode from 2013 went down in history for Alia Bhatt's goof up during the quiz segment for getting the name of President of India wrong.
