    The trailer of Ajay Devgn's web series debut Rudra: Edge of Darkness has arrived. It promises to be an intense muder mystery with the Bollywood star playing a cop.

    Ajay Devgn is all set to for a dark and promising debut in the digital space after three decades as a Bollywood star. The trailer of Rudra : The Edge of Darkness has arrived and it promises to be an intense thriller series with Ajay at the center of all the action.

    The fast paced trailer of Rudra is packed with action and promises Ajay’s character to be the best of the best cops who has just managed to crack a triple murder case. Things only get darker from these as the trailer also featuring Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol , Ashwini Kalsekar, Ashish Vidyarthi , Atul Kulkarni goes on to reveal more intense mysteries for Rudra to solve.

    In special focus is also Rashii Khanna’s character who seems to be one of the muder suspects who seems to be helping Ajay’s Rudra solve a case while also teasing an intense chemistry between these two characters. Ajay in turn is married to Esha Deol who he suspects is creating on him and is worried about his crumbling marriage.

    Ashwini Kalsekar plays Ajay’s boss in the series who seems to get embroiled in the case herself.

    Ajay who has famously played a cop in Rohit Shetty ’s loud and boisterous Singham franchise is much more restrained and real as Rudra. The trailer has a lot to unpack including the mystery of a psychopathic killer on the loose and makes and promises to be one of those intense series that will leave a mark.

    While the trailer has been released, the makers of Rudra are yet to reveal the release date for this web series which will arrive on Disney + Hotstar . The series has been helmed by National Award winning filmmaker Rajesh Mapuskar who directed the Marathi film Ventilator while made his debut with Ferrari Ki Sawaari . He has been an associate director for projects like Laage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots.
